Custom
molding of new parts, including design, tooling, prototyping, and finished
parts.
Injection molding is
basically the process of converting plastic pellets (resin) into specific
shapes by converting the pellets to a molten state, then, through
tremendous pressure, filling a mold and then cooling the resin. The
resulting plastic object is removed from the mold, and retains the
shape intended.
There are many varieties of plastic
materials that are injection moldable. Each has unique
characteristics, and is usually selected for the performance
characteristics of the intended end-use of the plastic product.
Pioneer Plastics' "Custom
Team" has a wide range of experience in molding many types of plastic
materials. Prospective customers may benefit from our many years of
experience in designing parts and producing a wide variety of products.
Whether your needs are for concepting a
new product or finding a higher quality, reliable molder for your existing
part, we are ready to help.
